Quick Start

Welcome to PrimePilot. After you create an account, a workspace administrator chooses PrimePilot Express or Agent Studio. Both use the same subscription and data. See PrimePilot Express and Agent Studio for what each interface includes and how to switch.

Your subscription plan determines which agent types and features are available. See Agent Catalog.

Start with PrimePilot Express

PrimePilot Express is the guided path. Sign in, choose PrimePilot Express, then open Solutions.

  1. Pick Email Response, Chatbot, or Shopify.
  2. Choose Configure and complete the setup wizard. Agents for that solution are created when setup finishes.
  3. Choose Open when the solution shows as ready.
  4. Use Activity for conversations and Usage for messages, tokens, and response times.

You can move to Agent Studio later from the Agent Studio button in PrimePilot Express. Your solutions stay in place.

Start with Agent Studio

Agent Studio is the full builder. Choose Continue with Agent Studio, then follow the Setup Guide to configure storage, create an API key, and add a domain. Those steps are required before deployments work.

Create your first agent

Open the Agent Catalog and create an agent. A proxy agent connects directly to an LLM. A RAG agent is trained on your knowledge and is the better starting point for most teams. See What is an Agent?.

An unconfigured RAG agent behaves as a proxy agent until you add knowledge sources, so you can use it immediately and train it afterward.

Add knowledge sources

Open Knowledge Bases and add a source: documents, a website, URLs, or another supported type. PrimePilot indexes the content so the RAG agent can retrieve it when answering. Processing time depends on the size and type of the source. See Knowledge Bases.

Create a squad

Open the Squad Catalog and create a squad for one purpose. Add the agents that job needs, then set how they work together, including automatic or manual agent switching. Configure the squad Orchestrator (for example passthrough or manager-worker) and fallback mode. See Creating Squads and What are Orchestrators?.

Deploy the squad

Deploy the squad as Full Page Chat, a Floating Widget, an Inline Widget, an API, a workspace, or, through Custom AI Solutions, an AI product. Copy widget or API configuration, or save a workspace type and share its URL. See Deployment.

Next steps

In Agent Studio, refine system prompts and model settings, add knowledge, create more squads, and review usage and analytics. Continue with Agents, Squads, Deployment, Workspaces, and User Management.
