PrimePilot Express and Agent Studio

PrimePilot has two workspace interfaces. They use the same account, subscription, agents, and data. A workspace administrator chooses which one the workspace starts in, and can switch later.

PrimePilot Express

PrimePilot Express is the guided interface. It is built around ready-made solutions rather than assembling agents and squads by hand. Agents are created when you finish a solution setup.

PrimePilot Express navigation includes:

  • Home - solution status, usage, and recent activity
  • Solutions - launch and manage Email Response, Chatbot, and Shopify
  • Activity - conversation history
  • Usage - messages, tokens, and response times

From Solutions, choose Configure to run first-time setup, Continue setup if a solution is only partly configured, or Open when it is ready.

Email Response connects Gmail, classifies inbound mail, and drafts replies for approval or automatic sending. Setup covers the squad name, labels, extraction, classification, drafting, sending, knowledge, and the mailbox connection.

Chatbot deploys a customer chat experience with a support agent. Setup covers the squad, the support agent, knowledge, and the connection used to publish the chat.

Shopify connects a store so you can automate notifications and store workflows.

PrimePilot Express also includes Help and Support, and Billing and Payments, from the account menu. Usage in PrimePilot Express shows the same reports as usage in Agent Studio.

Agent Studio

Agent Studio is the full builder. It is the interface for creating and operating agents, squads, knowledge bases, listeners, deployments, and administration.

Use Agent Studio when you need to:

  • Create agents from the Agent Catalog and configure them directly
  • Build custom squads and choose an orchestrator
  • Manage knowledge bases, listeners, domains, and API keys
  • Deliver workspaces, chat deployments, and API access
  • Administer users, conversations, analytics, and backups

The rest of this documentation describes Agent Studio: agents, squads, knowledge, listeners, orchestration, deployment, administration, and billing.

Choosing an interface

The first time an administrator signs in, PrimePilot asks how the workspace should be used:

  • PrimePilot Express for guided solutions
  • Agent Studio for the full builder, including starter agents and a starter squad

The choice applies to the workspace. Other users see a waiting screen until an administrator completes it. Support users then follow the interface the administrator chose. Members and guests use deployed chat experiences and do not open PrimePilot Express or Agent Studio.

Switching

PrimePilot Express and Agent Studio stay in sync because they read the same workspace data.

From PrimePilot Express, administrators open Agent Studio, confirm the switch, and land in the full builder. From Agent Studio, open the account menu and switch back to PrimePilot Express. Solutions, squads, and knowledge are unchanged when you switch.
