Platform Overview
PrimePilot is an AI-powered platform that enables businesses to transform their documents and knowledge into intelligent chatbots, copilots, and APIs. The platform provides a complete solution for building, training, and deploying conversational AI agents without requiring technical expertise.
Core Concepts
PrimePilot is built around three fundamental concepts: agents, squads, and knowledge bases. Agents are the main building blocks that process user messages and generate responses. You can create proxy agents that connect directly to LLMs, RAG agents that are trained on your knowledge base, or MCP agents that integrate with external services. See What is an Agent? to learn more about agent types and capabilities.
Squads are collections of agents with orchestration capabilities, allowing multiple agents to work together to handle complex conversations. Squads can automatically route conversations to the most appropriate agent based on intent detection, or you can manually switch agents during a conversation. See What is a Squad? for details on squad orchestration and deployment.
Knowledge Bases store the information that powers your RAG agents. You can add documents, websites, URLs, audio, video, and images to your knowledge base, and PrimePilot automatically processes and indexes this content for use by your agents. See Knowledge Bases to learn about supported knowledge source types and processing.
Key Features
PrimePilot provides comprehensive features for building and managing AI agents. The Agent Catalog lists all available agent types based on your subscription plan, with Starter and Pro plans offering different capabilities. You can create multiple agents from each agent type, configure them with your knowledge bases, and manage them through the dashboard. See Agent Catalog for information on available agent types and subscription plans.
RAG Agents are the core feature of PrimePilot, allowing you to build specialized agents trained on your knowledge base. These agents can answer questions, provide recommendations, and handle complex inquiries based on your specific content. RAG agents support various knowledge sources, LLM providers, vector stores, and embedding models. See RAG Agents for details on RAG capabilities and configuration.
MCP Agents enable integration with external services through the Model Context Protocol. With simple configuration, you can connect MCP servers from popular SaaS products like Asana, Stripe, and Xero to your PrimePilot agents, extending their capabilities with external tools and services. See MCP Agents for information on MCP integration and configuration.
Deployment Options
PrimePilot offers multiple deployment methods to suit different use cases. Full Page Chat provides a full-page chat interface hosted on the PrimePilot.ai domain, accessible via a unique URL or custom subdomain. Floating Widget adds a chat button to your website that opens a chat window when clicked. Inline Widget embeds a chat interface directly within your website content. API Integration allows you to programmatically interact with your squads through RESTful endpoints. See the Deployment section for details on each deployment method.
Subscription Plans
PrimePilot offers Starter, Pro, and Enterprise subscription plans with different features and capabilities. Starter plans include basic RAG agent types and MCP agents, while Pro plans add advanced orchestration patterns, additional knowledge sources, and enhanced configuration options. Enterprise plans include API access, on-premises deployment, and dedicated support. See Agent Catalog for subscription plan details.
Administration and Management
The PrimePilot dashboard provides comprehensive administration tools. User Management allows you to monitor and manage user accounts, track activity, and assign roles. Conversation History provides a complete view of all chat conversations with search and filtering capabilities. Analytics offers insights into performance, user engagement, and system health with AI-generated recommendations. Backups enable data export, backup, and restore capabilities. See the Admin Dashboard section for details on administration features.
Data and Privacy
PrimePilot includes comprehensive data privacy and security features. Data Privacy controls ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance with encryption, data retention policies, user rights support, and audit trails. On-Premises Deployment is available for Enterprise plans, allowing you to deploy PrimePilot entirely within your own infrastructure for maximum data control. See the Data section for information on privacy and deployment options.
Billing and Usage
PrimePilot provides transparent billing and usage tracking. Usage Tracking monitors token consumption, message counts, agent activity, and API usage against your subscription limits. Rate Limits control API request frequency to ensure fair usage and system stability. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) allows you to use your own API keys for LLM providers and vector storage, giving you direct control over costs. See the Billing section for details on usage tracking, rate limits, and BYOK configuration.
Getting Started
To begin using PrimePilot, start by creating your first agent in the Agent Catalog. You can begin with a simple proxy agent or configure a RAG agent with your knowledge base. Once you have agents configured, create a squad to orchestrate multiple agents together. Finally, deploy your squad using one of the available deployment methods. See Quick Start for step-by-step instructions on getting started with PrimePilot.
