Orchestrator Types
Orchestrator type defines the execution model for a squad.
PrimePilot supports a large and growing set of orchestration patterns, from simple deterministic flows to advanced multi-agent coordination models. The examples below are common starting points, not the full list.
Passthrough
Passthrough uses the squad's default execution behavior. This is the safest baseline option and is commonly used as the default orchestrator.
Other Orchestration Types
PrimePilot supports many orchestration types for coordinating agents, including both simple and advanced multi-agent flows.
For a broader overview of orchestration types (including sequential, manager-worker, planner-executor, parallel, and more), see:
Fallback Mode
Orchestrators support fallback behavior when a selected runtime path is unavailable:
- fail_fast (default): stop and return an error.
- passthrough: continue using passthrough behavior.
Use fallback mode to balance strictness versus continuity in production.
